College of Business Administration


The College of Business Administration is the regionís finest center of learning in business education, combining tradition and innovation in the teaching of relevant course.


To produce competent, highly trained and credible leaders capable of assuming significant leadership responsibilities in the corporate world.

General Objective

The College of Business Administration produces competent and well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the rigors of leadership and the demands of contemporary business and technology.

Specific Objectives:

1. Prepare students for business leadership through a dynamic program of classroom activities and executive skills training;

2. Train students to be mentally and emotionally prepared to meet the challenges of todayís changing business realities;

3. Promote entrepreneurial awareness and spirit to generate business for the community; and

4. Help students develop technical, analytical and interpersonal skills to realize their potential to become leaders in a global economy.


The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management enables students acquire a strong foundation on the theory, principles and concepts with sound financial decision making.


The Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management Program develops managerial skills, abilities and competencies essential to hospitality management. It also trains students in management of modern hotels, restaurants and other related operations (e.g. resorts, casinos, and cruise lines).


The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program concentrates on the study of software concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations, implementation and application of information, and designing/developing solutions.


Bachelor of Science in Information Technology focuses on the study, implementation and development of computer programs, information software towards the improvement of how information is stored, presented and transferred.


BSBA in Financial Management

* BSBA in Financial Management graduates are prepared for careers in financial department of general businesses, investment banking firms, broker-dealer firms, management consulting firms, various departments of commercial banks, central banks and other financial institutions.

BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management

* BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management graduates are prepared for management and leadership careers in various departments of lodging and foodservice industries.  Entry level positions are as follows: concierge, front desk officer, reservations officer, guest services officer, night auditor, bell hop, room attendant, cabin steward, housekeeping supervisor, banquet sales representative, food service attendant, commis, bartender and management trainee.

BS in Computer Science

* BS Computer Science graduates are prepared to become Information Technology professionals and researchers and to be proficient in designing and developing computing solutions.

BS in Information Technology

* BS in Information Technology graduates are prepared to become IT Managers, System Administrators, Network Administrators, Network Technicians, Network Engineers, System Engineers and Programmers.
