Vision

The College of Accountancy is an enthusiastic provider of groundwork for bold and innovative accounting program in Central Luzon, and maintains excellence in the instruction ofaccounting subjects.
 


Mission

To pepare exceptional men and women for leadership in business through accounting.

 

 

General Objective

The College aims to produce passers with topnotchers in the Certified Public Accountancy board examination by providing proper training and materials.


Specific Objectives:

  1. Provide concerned students with career enhancement which enrich competitive edge;
  2. Encourage a positive learning atmosphere through teamwork building, recognition of individual differences and respect for others;
  3. Enable the students to engage in critical and intellectual thinking by providing them with alternative learning systems;
  4. Create a warm and pleasant GNC campus environment suited for serious study; and
  5. Provide students with knowledge and skills based on accepted international accounting, to prepare them in taking government licensure examinations.

The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program is a five-year course which features quality accounting education and prepares students for professional careers and make them ready to face problems as certified accountants and responsible citizens.

 

FACULTY PROFILE

     An important measure of the quality of an accounting school is the caliber of its faculty. We can boast over eight (8) CPA professors, experienced and highly qualified teachers offering a wide range of subject expertise in partnership and corporation accounting, financial, cost, management and auditing.  All our teachers are renowned  for a high standard of teaching ability, and frequently combine academic teaching expertise with industry experience in commercial and management positions to help students get ready to pursue their dreams.  Full-time staff, all master degree holders, are supplemented by a dedicated team of lecturers, drawn from the world of industry and commerce. We select teachers not only for their qualifications and experience, but also for their passion for teaching.

     Our three (3) lawyers teaching commercial laws are experienced legal practitioners or have held government posts.  They consult and advise government and non-government agencies and are involved in the organization and affairs of the profession and the community.  


Their  knowledge and experience afford students the opportunity to examine the law in its broadest context.


ACCREDITED STUDENT CLUB/ORGANIZATION

     The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) represents accounting students in a responsible and just manner, cooperate with the school and community towards mutual goals and actively seeks out ways to improve and advance the accountancy program.  They are action oriented and focused on a wide range of social, intellectual and recreational interests and practical business issue.  They know how to make things happen and organize events and activities beneficial to student living.

     The JPIA provides an excellent venue for getting to know classmates and interacting with faculty.  Members assist in plannig and implementing all events and there are numerous opportunities to develop their leadership skills through participation in the organization.
