BS  Medical Technology Program


     To become the center of training for scientifically competent and research-oriented medical technologists in the region.


     To produce medical technologists who are able to apply analytical and critical thinking n clinical laboratory.


Program Objectives:

  1. To instill excellence in our students through updated curriculum, innovative educational program and interest in research; 
  2. To train students to acquire skills in scientific research  and use of laboratory instruments and equipment;
  3. To provide medical technologists who are partners in the delivery of quality health care service in the community; and
  4. To uphold moral and ethical values in the service of society and in the practice of the position.


BS Pharmacy Program


            To be recognized regionally and nationally as a leader in pharmacy education, research and service that partners effectively with other health care professionals, to promote the discovery, development and appropriate use of medications for the welfare and safety of the public.


            To produce future pharmacists who are highly skilled, ethical, knowledgeable, compassionate, and globally competitive professionals who can deliver the full spectrum of pharmaceutical services in the health care delivery.


Program Objectives:

  1. To instill excellence in our students through updated curriculum, innovative educational program and interest in research;
  2. To provide pharmacists who are partners in the delivery of health care service in the community;
  3. To train pharmacists in a wider range of scientific fields leading to employment in higher education institutions, community drug stores, hospitals,  government agencies, research establishments, public health and pharmaceutical industry; and
  4. To contribute to the overall social, mental, emotional and physical health of individuals, communities and the country.

  • Government agencies (such as, Board Examiner, Food and Drug Regulation officer (FDRO), Drug Regulation Officer (DRO),Director of Bureau of food and Drugs (BFAD) and Researcher.

  • Medical laboratory scientists are employed in hospital and private clinical laboratories
  • Public health agencies
  • Research forensic laboratories
  • Industrial medical and biomedical laboratories
  • Fertility centers
  • Educational institutions
  • Pharmaceutical companies
  • Blood banks
  • Physician office laboratories 

In addition to laboratory position, there are opportunities in technical sales, instrument service, management, teaching and medical writing.
